We continue to improve our studio "The Upper Green" in Ironton, Ohio, and it is currently set up for 24 tracks, using a Tascam 2488 recorder, and a dedicated rack featuring compression, EQ, and an enhancer. We have been upgrading our microphone locker, as well.

Besides being broadcast 24/7 on Westfield Radio, we have been featured on over 30 over-the-air and internet radio stations in the USA, Britian, Canada, Spain, France, Finland, Argentina, Australia, and even Slovenia. Westfield Radio has gotten hits from Europe, Japan, and South America.

Our cover of the Peyote Sky song "W in the Sky" is featured on a compilation disk headed for US and Canadian troops serving in Afghanistan. You can check out the song at our Garageband site GarageBand.com. Tim Ratcliff and Ken Bailey won two awards in 2007, the WBVV valentine composition contest for our song "She Is", and The Viking Radio Artist of the Year award for our song "Bombs Away". We also placed in the top 10 for the Beatles-style composition contest hosted by the UK site Recordproducer.com.

We also got some very good advice on recording from Mr. Jorma Kaukonen. He was the lead guitarist for the Jefferson Airplane, whose playing made "Somebody to Love" an eternal classic. Visit his website at FurPeachRanch.com.

We decided there was no way we could ever write 30 songs in one year like we did in '06, but the ink and the juices kept flowing, and we wound up with 31 new songs, taking our catalog over the 160 mark.

We would also like to invite musicians of any style in the Ashland Kentucky/Ironton Ohio areas to send us their URLs, we'd be glad to post it in our links section and be sure to check out the links for other artists in our local area. We'd love to hear from you! Please feel free to EMail us.

We are especially interested in songwriting and publishing, and would love to talk to anyone interested concerning that. (Plus, we LOVE to play!) ORIGINAL music always has its influences, but this CD sounds unique; a quick visit to one of the sites currently offering samples of the CD listed below will confirm!
